Rachel Sandby-Thomas is to join the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (BERR) as Solicitor and Director General on 31 March 2008. She will lead a team of 220 people, including more than 100 lawyers. Rachel joins the Department from Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC), where she is currently Director, Tax Law
